SAIL AWAY WITH ME…ON A PAPAYA BOAT

Bora Chan Photography - Papaya Boat

Papaya Boat

aka a Bora specialty and the perfect beach snack!

That title was a little sneaky but I had to hook you somehow! I’m sharing another one of my breakfast go-to’s with you today. Sometimes I’ll have it for breakfast or even just a snack during the day. It’s a Bora specialty, the Papaya Boat aka whatever fruit I have on hand piled into a ripe and tasty papaya. I’m sure you’ll understand by the photos. It’s pretty tasty and I always sprinkle with chia seeds, coconut chips/shreds, and whatever else I have on hand in the pantry.

Making the papaya boat is basically self-explanatory but here’s how I make mine.

  • 1 ripe payapa (sliced in half and scoop out the seeds)

  • 1/2 dragonfruit (cubed, diced, or melon ball scoops)

  • 1/2 banana

  • handful of berries

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • sprinkles of coconut chips/shreds

That’s it! Something a little extra I like to do is to squeeze fresh lemon juice over the papaya before I start to pile on the fruit inside it. This gives it a little something extra and I absolutely love it!
